OVERVIEW
Ericka practices complex civil and commercial litigation. Her main experience is in insurance law, contract law and administrative litigation. However, at Casellas Alcover & Burgos, P.S.C., she has represented and advised clients in a wide range of commercial matters, at the trial and appellate levels and in local administrative proceedings.
Ericka graduated magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in 2008 and summa cum laude from the Ponce School of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2011. Prior to joining Casellas Alcover & Burgos, P.S.C., she gained invaluable experience in both trial and appellate litigation as a judicial law clerk for Hon. Judge Erick V. Kolthoff Caraballo of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and from working in mayor law firms.
Ericka is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. District Court, Puerto Rico. She is also a Notary Public.
Ericka serves as Director on the Board of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
