OVERVIEW
Andrea received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies from Manhattanville College, graduating summa cum laude in 2015. Andrea then graduated cum laude from the Law School of the University of Puerto Rico in 2018, where she worked as the graduate research assistant of a law school professor focusing on Environmental and Energy law. She was also an associate editor of the UPR Law Review, and a member of both the Environmental Legal Aid Clinic and the Intellectual Property & Start-ups Pro-Bono program. During her time in law school she worked as a summer associate in one of the leading firms in Puerto Rico, interned for a judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and co-founded a start-up that provided law clerk services to attorneys in the island.
Upon graduation, Andrea focused all of her efforts into her start-up, providing services to highly sophisticated litigation firms and even collaborating with a corporate boutique law firm. She then joined Casellas Alcover & Burgos, P.S.C., in 2018.
